Sutcliffe is lucky we don’t have another option as he was anonymous. Austin and Sezer both play again but with rockets up their arses. The forwards were poor overall. Tet isn’t living up to billing as Marquee for Leeds, and whilst Leeming was OK he needs to command those around him more. Prior did well. Mellor and Gannon were both outgunned for aggression, and Smith didn’t have his best game. The bench was really poor, Mik didn’t really have any impact, and Donno and Thompson shouldn’t be in the squad if we had better prop options. CJ was so far out of position at Centre I’m not even going to comment, the kid had no chance.
I’d say Broadbent comes in and Briscoe goes on the wing for Tindall. If Newman is fit he replaces Sutcliffe. Then we have to find another 2/3 options in the pack, maybe O’Connor for Donaldson and Dwyer for CJ. One thing is for certain, if Agar lets some of the forwards play again next week they know that this level of performance is OK whilst ever we’re a little short of numbers.
A fair summing up, apart from briscoe, I wouldn’t have him in the squad in any position. Worryingly tonight we looked a soft team ,when we come under any pressure we fold. On the other side of the coin we aren’t having much luck. The yellow card was a joke and the first Wigan try was freak. Plus as per normal we have suffered some more injuries. None of this had any bearing on the result but it certainly didn’t help our cause. At the risk of stating the blindingly obvious the Catalan game is a must win game. To start the season with 3 defeats when everything looked so promising would be a disaster.

What’s disappointing is we didn’t look soft last week, our line speed and agression in defence was outstanding, to see it drop off this week was as i say disappointing

I can't remember if it was 6-0 or 6-6 at the time, but the Tindall break was a big turning point. Even if he didn't score we'd have continued to build pressure. I don't blame the lad, it's part of the learning curve and it's great to have moments to get you out of your seat.
I think the first try was both a fluke and as pointed out in the analysis an incorrect call by the VR.
Those two events really zapped our momentum, and we'd looked pretty decent until that point.
Agree with others though that when Prior and Tet went off, then we lost Smith to injury, we just had nothing in the middle. We lost momentum and never got it back again. 2nd half was pathetic.
We don't seem to be getting the rub of the green though yet this season. Another soft yellow card, a could more injuries, and a couple of iffy video ref calls

One thing strikes me again from the game is the last play options and not applying pressure on the opposition goal line with kicks or the chance of repeat sets. Having said that, thought this was the case even with Gale last year.
That’s down to Oledsjki not being fit and missing Martin (outstanding last week in defence) and Bentley (he’s very very good on his day). It also stands out like a sore thumb the lack of another good prop.

We didn't look soft in the first 20 either. But we weakened when we did our rotations. Donaldson and Thompson on together is a big no

Yep that’s the big thing for me. I actually didn’t expect to win tonight but I did expect a good performance and a close game. Not good. Not good at all.

Correct, certain players on display tonight definitely not up for it. Big chance next week to redeem themselves. Personally I think we will win.

Its a real good test of the players next week, ill be extra disappointed if there isn’t a positive reaction from them.
Even if we lose it isn’t season over despite what some on here think.
