I don’t know what the crack is with Broadbent, but I was sat near him and a few other Leeds fringe players at Hunslet a couple of weeks back and when someone mentioned Jack Sinny, Broadbent’s reply was 'who, the f****ng prince of Headingley'. Take from that what you will......

Very interesting. He may have a point, but if that’s got back to management it would explain why he’s not playing tonight…..

I agree we have a better squad than last year equally we are pretty near to the team we are putting out tonight that wasn`t classed as a top 6 team last year. I`m not holding out for a win but would have felt confident with those 7 playing tonight.
I don't buy into the Broadbent rumours, it's just horses for courses. Field and Marshall are both rapid, I think that's why it's Tindall on wing instead.

If that has got back to management, it wouldn't reflect well on his attitude. I seem to remember on one of the pre season videos on YT he said "I don't want to be playing at Fev, I want to be playing at Leeds" which in fairness, is probably his ultimate feeling. I just found it slightly disparaging to Featherstone..

Hardaker on the wing, Partington onto the bench, otherwise the Wigan lineup is the same as last week.
Is Tindall better under a high kick than Broadbent? With the weather being what it is, that could have played into the decision. Reckon there'll be a lot of bombs to the wingers.
