A family issue kept me away but this thread is so depressing to read.

On the pitch we are clearly in the sort of hole many of us expected, possibly an even bigger hole than most feared.

However the off the pitch stuff is seriously worrying. We are two home games in to a critical relaunch. This really was a game to push to newbies above the Widnes game, given the respective strengths of the opposition.

Yet we have cheap kids tickets and then no offering aimed at kids in the stadium.

The fan zone closed. With so few RL fans in London the opportunity to turn matches into an "event" was one of the strongest arguments for stumping up £200k to Dons. Broncos gave it one game...

A smattering of people in the community stand suggesting the community drive is already stalling.

The club is fast getting to the position where it needs a miracle worker not a marketing manager/ commercial manager. (Two very different skillset.) Quite why anyone with a suitable skillset would want to join a club in this big a mess is a moot point.

Deeply worrying times for professional RL in London. Given the Skolars result, this was arguably the worst weekend since 1980?

Why is the coach laughing in the post match interview? Could you imagine Shaun Wane or any other coach with winning mentality doing that. Get rid of the clown now. He's no winner, he's a liberal school teacher. Get a hard man in.

They need to have a replacement before they get rid....
1) Assistant Coach is his Brother, so he would leave as well
2) No Youth Coach who can take over

So who exactly would they put in as Temporary Head coach while they look? Would we have Lovell as player coach? And who would take it, squad is weak and thin, and will get battered most weeks, and no budget to improve as all the money is soaked up in the stadium rent.

Nope whether we like it nor not, we will have to get use to what we have

I think we are stuck with Mustard for the foreseeable future

He seems to be laughing at the absurdity of the fact he wouldn't want to be watching his own team.

Not that long ago we had had Danny Ward and Jamie Langley at the helm. How times changes with the coaching pathway being destroyed in the process..

Start seeking out replacements in the background. There are plenty of managers out there with decent track records without a job or working as number 2s

I can't see the head coach being changed. Quite simply to do so would be to accept the decision to appoint him was disastrous and would place the competency of the decision maker(s) firmly in the spotlight

Nothing to see here, move along please...

While that is true, can you really see Hughes or his crustacean mate Lobster having the wherewithal to be able to do that without looking stupid?

I can’t see any changes to management team this season. It’s difficult enough getting a 20 something Northern player to move to London to play part time. By the time someone is 40 they will have a career established and won’t want to be temping or working on building sites to supplement a coach’s job. Also Aussies seem to do their gap year in their 20s not 40s.
In any event, say we asked Ward or Henderson or some such back and paid them 80% of their previous salary to be PT coach. What exactly could they do with a L1 squad. At least they know Coleman hand picked them and may play for him.
The real problem is many of these players are on a 2. Gawd knows how that plays out next year.
