Dont think there are many who could win a foot race with Johnstone
Ratu may have had a chance

Agreed, credit to Mcintosh for not quitting on the chase.

Plus Johnstone was running onto the ball. McIntosh had to turn as the pass was behind him.

Thought Darnell had a good game. Finished his try well and has lots of enthusiasm. Looks happy to be at the club!

Didn't Darnell get smashed round the head with a stiff arm whilst scoring? Not that it was a sending off or even a yellow card. It's just that yet again the RL have instructed their referees on a particular start of season clamp down which unfortunately between them they're unable to police in a consistent fashion. It's more or less the same every season with a different rule.

The so called top 4 teams will get lower level suspensions for the first few weeks. Then eventually the current red cards will become yellows around about round 7. The yellows will become penalty only.

Great gritty win for the lads well chuffed.

Well Gaskell has form for acting performances that would put oscar winners to shame. Thought Griffiths was uneven in the way he officiated to honest and struggling to fully see how we were so bad compared to Wakey other than they were appealing for anything.

Just hope like the players the officials have now blown the cobwebs off and will officiate consistently across the board as a set of officials.

I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

To be honest even at the pace they were going it wasn't as bad as some you see not even get penalised but he was the last man and it was a very lazy tackle.

Congrats on the 2 points though fellers.

Image clearly shows the initial contact was was upper arm. The actual footage shows that the secondary contact was with the neck.

Based upon the Warrington sin binning yesterday and Kendall’s explanation, I’d say Jake should get a Not Guilty or Sending Off sufficient verdict. Whether he will….?

Agree with Staffs, certainly looked like Darnell took an unpunished headshot whilst scoring.

Indeed the shot on McIntosh went completely unpunished and you wonder then what constitutes direct contact with the head for both teams.

Apart from a really poor refereeing performance yet again, this really was an outstanding win, this six again crap wants hoofing in to touch with the corona virus.

A really strong defensive display from our lads under intense pressure from a Wakey side almost at full strength, we’ve got a few lads coming through at last, Wynne will keep Carlos and Griff on their toes, glad it’s one from one, and not the predicted 0/3 as a few thought, great following from the very best away supporters in the league.

Thought we’d blown it when Jake was carded, never saw what happened at the time, hope it’s just another rubbish decision, great team performance.
