Saints are relentless from minute 1 to 80 and they must have that culture, as a club, running through them because even the inexperienced players they introduce buy into that from game one. That intensity must be the same at training, it isn't something you can just turn on, I'd imagine. It would be interesting to see what it would be like should they suffer an injury crisis though, as beyond the first 17, like us, they don't have a lot of SL tested depth.
Whilst St's have a very good squad what impresses me the most about them is that they play with such intensity from 0 mins to 80mins. Their line speed particularly in defence was outstanding and they never gave Catalan any time or space after the first 20-25mins. When we play with that level of intensity we also look a much different team the problem is it only lasts for about 10-15 minutes in a game. I am hoping our line speed is one of the area's that BH has worked on and drilled in to the players especially when defending and we close down the 10M quickly as as the oppostion ptb instead of standing still allowing teams to make easy metres.
