Rovers could have held Hull College to the deal but with Sewell Group offering another lucrative deal it was agreed that Hull College will now sponsor the West Stand.

Of course when it comes to stadium naming rights it's something Hull FC don't know anything about because you don't have a stadium, you pay rent to play at someone else's. Hull's cut of the MKM deal? Zero.

This is why Rovers are in so much stronger position than Hull. We have assets which provide income. We also have an owner who is having incredible success away from rugby and is now able to fund the purchase of the freehold to Craven Park which includes a large amount of surrounding land.
