So no challenging questions there then. Were none asked or none allowed?

Seems they are going yo ask Mustard questions monthly. This was Feb effort. Q: Against Widnes we looked a bit overwhelmed in the first 15 minutes, is this something you put down to the occasion, the amount of young players or something else? Steve

JC: “100%. We were a bit ‘rabbit in headlights’ for the first 15 minutes of Sunday’s game. It was an accumulation of the occasion and emotion in the game.
“It was an emotionally sapping occasion in terms of first game at the crowd, a big crowd, debuts in the team, and debuts at that level. It took us some time to find our feet and feel secure.
“It was something that caught us off guard.”

Q: How long off is Sitiveni Moceidreke from being able to play? Also Ulberg? Adam.

JC: “Siti has had a full week in training with us this week, he’ll be in contention for this weekend. We’re hopeful Paul Ulberg will be in contention to play against Whitehaven, if not then then definitely Featherstone.”
Q: Are we still looking to sign players? Jack.

JC: “We’re always looking for new players. I’d love another middle, I’d love a little more experience in the group. Ultimately, that will come down to conversations with myself Jason (Loubser, CEO) and David (Hughes, owner).”

Q: Plough Lane is a really nice venue, but the pitch is grass and different to Ealing which is artificial. Do you think this plays a part for the team? Susan.

JC: “It’s slightly different on players’ legs and bodies – Ealing will be harder on players’ knees for example. But it’s not a huge difference. Plenty of teams play on grass across the league, so they’re used to it.”
Q: Has the club made a complaint about not being listed for a TV fixture this season? James.

JC: “It’s disappointing, but it could be logistical reasons – getting ourselves up north or another team down here on a chosen date might not be so easy. We’re fortunate Betfred Championship Rugby League is shown on TV, hopefully we’ll feature soon.”

Q: As Jamaican Head Coach with Jamaican roots, how proud are you to hold such a role? Especially with the World Cup approaching. Ann.

JC: “It makes me immensely proud to represent my heritage, to represent my family, there’s no greater pride in sport than representing your national team. I’m very fortunate to be able to do it, and I’m very fortunate to share the experience with my brothers. It’s fantastic, and I’ll always put my hand up to help Jamaica be successful.”
Q: Settle an argument, who was better – Jermaine Coleman or Jymel Coleman, and why? Richard.

JC: “Jy-mel was definitely more talented, Rugby League came a lot more naturally to him. I’ll always say I was the better player though!”

Q: With the squad we have, do you think the Broncos can challenge for a play-off spot? Kevin.

JC: “I believe in the squad, and I think we can make the play-offs. We’ve been hit by injury and availability already – on Sunday we were missing several key players. We have a young squad, so when we pick up injuries the going will get tough.
“But, I believe we can match most teams in this division when we put our strongest team on the pitch.”

In fairness, in a pleasant way, a couple of questions did go to the key issues, quality of squad and quality of Sunday’s performance. If the club are noting the concern and thinking what do about it - I’ll take that as a win. Of course it might be the only one I see in which case....grrrr.

Right. They've gone from calling us old whiners and banning people from games, social media as well as attacking supporters on social media in late night rants :DRUNK: to being the caring listening broncos.

I remember somebody asking Brian McDermott where we'd finish in 2009 and he said 1st. The same person repeated the question and added "seriously, where will we finish" to which Mac scowled and said he'd already answered....we finished 11th. This idiot reckons we're aiming for the play-offs....seems an odd target this early in the season....surely first place is everyone's goal, or do we not want to win every game or expect to before KO?
Hardly a motivational genius

I remember attending a sales conferance where Will Carling was a speaker. England had just lost in the final of the world cup. He was asked the question why they had lost, his reply was their goal was to reach the final of the world cup, their goal should have been to win the world cup.
