The work starts NOW.
Wimbledon delivered that gate, together with 450+ Widnes fans.
If the club are true to form, that'll be it........expecting those that paid a quid to come back for a score or more......
...I wait to be prove wrong

Positives! Couple of decent breaks up the middle. They didn't totally collapse in second half.

Negatives! Left wing wow! Has he never played there before? Too many free mtrs and set restarts, all justified!
Let's see what Halifax have to offer.

Bienek and Tuilatu gained us some metres up the middle mostly in the second half. Come to think of it I don't think Tuliatu got on until; about the 50 minute mark - looked to be a big mistake from the coach, we were crying out for someone to help Bienek out.
The left wing defence was bad in the 'friendly ' against Hull it was non-existent today. Right wing was just poor by comparison.
Kicker looked nervy, and once he'd kicked out on the full in the first half he'd lost it completely. Am I right in thinking he missed all 3 conversions?

I don't know what the starting line up was as the PA was muffled from where I was sitting sounded muffled. No programme and no team sheet given out as far as I could see.

I'm hoping we have a few better players to come back into the starting line up ( Curran, Fijian full back for instance ) -- we're going to need them.

There were a few out there yesterday, well let's put it this way, if that was their one and only Broncos appearance this season it was one appearance too many. Harsh, yeah, but not an unfair judgement based on the 70 minutes i saw.

Think macani was on the right wing, he was at least in the right position defensively.
Currently looks like we don't have a kicker in the group, first two reasonably easy conversions missed were a worry. 3rd was a change of kicker but right on touch line so can't complain too much.
For the dons fans that came I don't think the score mattered that much, its more if they enjoyed the game of rugby league live.

Fine but if you don't tell them the rules & about the players, they are unlikely to engage. All the things we did right in 1980, we seem to have done wrong yesterday.

For £1 a ticket it should have been more people there.
Game ends and still Broncos not promoting the next home game.
London Irish had 11k on Saturday!

It is a fact that there is a lot of work to be done, but it is a start.
Behind me were a group of twenty somethings, one of the girlfriends was an Aussie who had instigated their attendance. They were impressed by the speed of the game over union. The consensus amongst them was that they would return.
I do think to have to pay twenty two pounds is a bit steep and may discourage many.

To say that 450+ Widnes fans were in attendance is a bit of an exaggeration.

Irish doing very well this season & in Less Kiss they have a very good Coach. Shame we can't get him to come back to the Broncos.

Do you think so?
As well as the big crowd behind the posts there were a fair few in the seats in the corner too I thought ( blocks 101-104? I think)
Either way I thought they had a pretty good turn out.
