Comedy Central.
No wonder the rest of Europe, and further afield, think were a little island of ballbags.

Why now could it be that the Police announcing a criminal investigation could delay the Gray report from being released.

Edited for accuracy.

When it comes to correcting you no because I think it is ME civic duty to burst you pomposity.

Wanderer don’t worry I will leave him alone now because like de Pfeffel he is a gift who keeps on giving and it’s no longer a challenge.

Another day, another party at No. 10
I know this looks like many previous posts but, incredibly, there IS yet another party that has come to light.

Boris says that he's glad that the Met are getting involved - more lies or, just hoping to bluff his way out of another problem ?

It's hard to imagine why ANYONE would want a police investigation.

I suppose it depends if he hoped it would stop the Gray report from being published for several months. That plan did not go so well because the Police have confirmed they have no objections to it being released in full.

One flaw damns a saint and one virtue redeems a sinner, innit?

The more investigations there are then the more chance there’ll be one that he can cling to as the least bad and therefore most important that we should focus on before moving of to the important business of blah, blah, blah.

I see the arguments about what constitutes a party are being given prominence at the expense of the more clearly defined and relevant govt info on what constituted an illegal social gathering. Also, anybody who wants a leader with even a shred of remaining integrity, dignity and authority is now bolstering Putin, apparently. If Tory MPs were that concerned about Putin, they could end this nonsense and put Raab in as interim PM until they can elect a new leader. Hardly ideal, but better than this.

'Thus I am tormented by my curiosity and humbled by my ignorance.' from History of an Old Bramin, The New York Mirror (A Weekly Journal Devoted to Literature and the Fine Arts), February 16th 1833.

That'll be the party of all parties if Boris is exonerated from this ludicrous attempt to attach any blame to him over these trumped up charges, he now seems to spend all his time defending himself instead of being able to deal with more pressing matters.
