Let us not forget she is a government employee and she reports to de Pfeffel who decides what action to take. I bet he uses the time he receives the report to it being published to work on any defence. The system is set up because it was never anticipated that someone with de Pfeffel morals would be the PM.

Why because I back what I believe rather than someone who stays at home moaning rather than doing something about it.

So Sue Gray has found the incriminating email about Boris’s Party , and Cummins is giving his evidence to her. :D

Who is the liar?

Lyin Boris or Cummins ?

To chissitt & Scarlet Pimpernell - It would be great if this thread could stay on topic and not go the way of the last Brexit thread.

I am more than happy to stay on topic and had been but I was just replying to a post aimed at me.

It’ll just be a list of facts, which are already widely known and even accepted.

There’ll be no judgement or verdict and very little interpretation because that is beyond the remit of the report. Martin Reynolds might get a ‘poor judgement’. It might mention the Crown Estate defence to ward off any possible criminal investigation but I can’t see it being given prominence, given its medical and moral irrelevance. Whatever, Johnson will pretend he’s been exonerated, like Trump did with the Mueller report, and the Tory MPs can decide if they want to walk the path taken by the US Republicans, as an adjunct one soulless man’s bloated ego.

I don’t need to wait for that. It’s more about buying time for something to pop up and save. War in Ukraine or the like… it doesn’t really matter, the only thing that matters to Big Dog is Big Dog.

'Thus I am tormented by my curiosity and humbled by my ignorance.' from History of an Old Bramin, The New York Mirror (A Weekly Journal Devoted to Literature and the Fine Arts), February 16th 1833.

Let's wait and see. Or has this become the 'told you so' thread. Just relax, let "de Pfeffel" stew on it. Yawn.

Oh, you're such a tease.
Lets face it, these kind of "reports" are usually carried out so that the PM can take decisive action.
As Judge and Jury, Bojo is hardly likely to appear on TV saying "it's a fair cop Guv, I'll step down".
Far more likely that one or more of his staff will have to take the walk of shame (again) and Bojo will laugh things off (again).

His record of taking responsibility for his actions isn't great, is it.?

I see de Pfeffel is instructing schools to follow the new Covid rules. I guess he still doesn’t understand that despite his denial very few people are going to take any notice. The requirement not to wear mask in schools for example should really coincide with the end to isolation because all that will happen is that cases will increase, teachers will be isolating and classes will be sent home.
I suppose when you are making decisions based on self preservation that logic goes out of the window.
