True, but it isn’t good for the country.

And, as a silver lining for the left and centre-left, it won’t be any easier for a new leader to rebuild the coalition of voters who swept the Tories to their landslide than it’d be for busted Boris to hold them together now he’s been exposed to even those who didn’t want to see.

I guess the plan is to leak stories of parties in number 10 every week to make sure the report is delayed until after the next election. I believe it was rumoured that there ain’t no party like a number 10 party. They come with Police protection to keep the undesirables out plus each one will have a video produced by security looking over the gardens. It does not have a drinks license so those attending other than the residents must bring their own bottle.

Who's the "enemy of the people" now you neo-fascist ****bag?

"Brian McDermott, with a wry smile, nods when asked if he remembers a specific incident which made him realise he was a prick. 'I do', he murmurs."

All good for the lying leader, let's just hope he stays on.
Let's face it, she's only looked at a few of the numerous parties and there will be plenty more to come.

Dom seems to know more than the PM and it will be, drip, drip, drip until he is removed from office.

The Hogarthian brilliance of Cold War Steve does offer some comfort during these times of self-inflicted national humiliation.

I think we all know what Sue Gray’s report will look like. Neutral tone, ‘misjudgements’, no laws broken (avoiding or limiting mention of guidelines), we have to accept the word of a notorious liar that he is unable to recognise a party, ministerial code and misleading parliament outside the scope of this investigation. Boris will ‘accept the findings’, trying to give the impression that it is an independent report, acknowledge that mistakes were made, maybe squeeze out one more apology and ask people to move on with the important work of <insert slogan created by the man who leaked much of this to the press>.

If Tory MPs are ‘waiting to see’ if there’s more than that, I suspect they want to let him off the hook until the local elections. Might work, but I can’t really see this blowing over - not completely.

He'll never change. If the Conservatives stick with him they can expect more of the same. There will be more scandals and more u-turns. He's got no moral compass. Seems crazy not to get rid really. Surely the better option is to persuade him to resign, draw a line, have a more professional setup and move on.
