Looking forward to the game after the Boxing Day farce. It’ll be good to see the new players get a run out and to see some of the fringe players get an opportunity. Not really fussed about the result as I just want everyone to come through the game injury free!

Burton was at fullback

Jordan Lilley out for 2 months with a PCL injury. Our terrible luck with injuries continues into 2022.

Only positive is that at least Kear has a few weeks of pre season to prepare Jowitt, so slightly better than losing Lilley just before the season begins.

I said before Christmas that I felt we were light in experience at halfback but Kear has said he has faith in Jowitt to step up, so hopefully he can.
