Shaun Bailey has resigned as Chairman of the London Assembly Police and Crime committee following publication of this picture of him clearly breaking the law. Position was totally untenable.
I wonder if he'd have resigned as mayor of London had he not lost the election earlier in the year.
"Brian McDermott, with a wry smile, nods when asked if he remembers a specific incident which made him realise he was a prick. 'I do', he murmurs."

I wonder how many of the supposed "cancelled" Torp Christmas Parties will still go ahead this time. Does anyone believe that they actually give a damn about anything, apart themselves ?
There will be another bloody nose coming tomorrow and despite their huge majority, finally, Bojo may be getting closer to the door.

I wonder how many Tory Xmas parties will be cancelled along with the Labour & Lib Dem Xmas parties along with the rest of the perceived smaller parties Xmas bash, very few if any I reckon, I actually believe that they will all believe they have earned it for the hard work and effort they have put in, it's that time consuming most haven't the time for a proper job.

Lol There will be plenty of folk that see Christmas as "one last chance to party", before we go into another lockdown or, something very close. As for the MP's, lots of them do a great job and serve their constituents very well (all parties), while some just take the mickey and see being an MP as a chance to line their pockets, either while still serving as an MP or, setting something up for the "after life".

Our current MP appears to be doing nothing for his money. I doubt he even turns up at Parliament because when it comes to how did your MP vote he always appear to have not voted. I know he has trouble away from his MP job but that shouldn’t stop him representing those that foolishly voted for him in my opinion. I doubt he is not taking his salary paid for by the tax payers of Wakefield in part.

We've got Andrea Jenkins on our side of town, a committed Brexiteer so, at least the locals are "happy".

God wrencat you're so naive. What difference do you think replacing Johnson would make to this country? Not so pretty bully patel, slumdog millionaire sunak or even dare I say it "Sir" Kneel Starmer. We will be fed the same media narrative and the same government polices for the next 2 years at least. Just ongoing propaganda, travel restrictions, business closures, school closures, variants, boosters, masks, testing, passports and of course personal stories of them breaking rules and so on and so on. Nothing is going to change regardless of who's in charge. They all follow the same agenda. Wake up.
