They're not though are they? They are cost of living rises that never come anywhere near close to the actual rise in cost of living.
The cost of living is out of control and about to get worse. Look at fuel - fuel surcharges on deliveries are at 20%+ - that's another cost that will be passed on. Energy bills are sky rocketing and national insurance contributions are going up in April (with the highest proportional increase being shouldered by the working class). The gap between the cost of living & accommodation and mean average incomes is going to widen massively over the next 12 months.
We've even now got Pritti Patel crying about EU countries not coming up with a solution to cross channel migration - we were supposed to be taking control of our borders! Another pup they sold to public that they are now desperately trying to deflect blame for.
