I think the squads good and just needs one or two signings to pad it out abit. As the comment above said, some will be expecting Makinson etc but I'm happy with those that are coming in. I think the biggest bit of business is in those that we've managed to keep. We've done very well to keep the likes of Lilley, Doyle & Scurr.

Robson was on loan at Salford at back end of last season. I haven't seen anywhere that he is there for next year but I could be wrong. See Sammut has gone to Barrow.

Robson and Butler are 25 and 26 at Wire. Loans are a double edged sword. If they play poorly, there's no point and if they play well they're recalled. With Covid still a major problem and clubs running tighter squads they're a false sense of security. Basically, they're never there when you need them.

It's all academic now anyway. The new variant cutting through southern Africa means we won't be having a 2022 season.
