Johnstone not there Sneyd not there Bowden not there
Hmmm......
Probably because senior players have been given an extra week off, barring those with injuries.

Is Hodgson the new Griffin, or is it all about pace?

Interesting from Taylor, the extent of his injuries last year, returning too soon etc. If he can find anything like his early FC form it will be like a new signing. Only 30 too. Motivation doesn't seem to be an issue. https://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/sport/r ... ge-6222558

Explains a lot, Mrs. B. 15 weeks out and coming back after 1 training session, because he was needed due to other players out, says a lot. I remember him coming off the line to make the hit on Sims and Rovers supporters giving him it, when he stayed down. To play on with busted ribs and turn out the next week is amazing. Hope he’s fit and raring to go. As you say, like having a new signing. Some humble pie eaters on here, if he does.

I must admit to being very critical of Taylor last season, but when you read the article, it does offer some mitigation for his performances , with the amount of training that he missed, it is hardly a surprise that he looked unfit and ineffective. A focussed and fit Taylor will complete what is looking like , a formidable set of props. If Lovodua is a good player, then that pack should not be bested often. We need our half backs to stay clear of injury though, that is what we'll all be thinking and I'll be holding my breath every time they are tackled, praying that they get straight back up again.
