Wakefield did not, at any time, promise to build a new ground if they made it to SL. Nowhere is there a record of this. There are some unattributed jouro reports, yet not a single statement from the club. That's a well-established myth.
I do of course note, you've gone from a "promise", to "a strong representation".
You've gone to combat mode. I'm not telling you what I think your club did or didn't say about your ground. I'm telling you what everyone thinks they "know". It makes zero difference in the mind of the Rugby League public. Everyone "knows" they pledged, promised, suggested or whatever word you want that they would improve bell Vue. I genuinely on a personal level have no clue or opinion whether that's true or not. It's an accepted "fact".
You don't appreciate the irony of the situation you face battling this, whilst swallowing the utter b0llocks about Bradford being somehow helped by the RFL. I tell people the facts about Bradford the same amount as you do about Wakey but here we are doing it all again.
Here it is is one more time. We have had credible bids for the club turned down so that the RFL can appoint compliant paupers instead. The mulyi million Thorne bid was accepted by the administrator and was so nailed on he met with all the players . The RFL appointed a pauper instead. That single action more than cancels out the lease by an unbelievable amount.
Everyone "knows" you promised a new ground, and everyone "knows" Bradford have net benefited from RFL involvement. I appreciate you feel defensive but I'm not one of the weirdo Wakey haters so you should join me in battling this pair of false narratives.
