His kicking isn't as good as people think either, was poor last year, he will set up some trys with kicks, but that's because that was our only option in many games.

Agree with you about his kicking. A lot of the trys he set up with kicks when attacking the opponents line I feel was more to do with how good Connor is in the air. I appreciate Sneyd has to put the kick in the right spot to begin with, and he was good at that, but any half in the league worth their pay cheque should be able to do that from close range. Sneyd's kicks wouldn't be half as effective if it wasn't Connor they were going to. Even Swift is very good in the air for a smaller guy.

Advantage of investing in am academy I suppose.

Who are the two young lads to fill it and please don't say macnamara and hookam

Sneyds kicking out of hand was awful, 90 percent of the time going straight to the fullback, always seemed to be Connor who got the 40/20s or put more effective kicks in

I'm sure he didn't mean those 2. I think he meant McNamara and Hookem

I think (hope) there's an element of the club doing the right thing by Sneyd. I don't think he was in our plans beyond next year and with Salford offering him some security we haven't stood in his way and I think that's probably a good move for everyone involved. I think Gale will go alright for us but I see him as a stop gap signing before we bring in a big name next year.

I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

I'm told that we have an aussie half back lined up, but he cannot be here until 2023.
I don't have any name who it is.
