I'm amazed at the reaction of the Salford fans to the signing of Sneyd, have they not seen him play the last 3 years? You would think they signed Jackson Hastings again, the way they are going on social media, unless he really ups his game, they are going to be in for a shock.

Looking at Twitter you would think they had signed Nathan Cleary.
Id say on recent form he is a poor signing, if he can replicate his firm from 16/17 then he would be a good signing, won't have that pack he had at Hull to work with though.

Not me I've been on here a few times in the last few years saying how average Sneyd was and you were getting our then fourth choice halfback as your main man, that never went down too well.
As it's stands now I think we are getting a guy who to be fair probably has the best kicking game in the comp who other than that offers little with ball in hand, just hope he does the kicking well and Brodie Croft runs the show.
As a side if the choice was Sneyd or wiggy from Leeds then thanks Hull.
The fans, the members, the people there.. from the day I stepped foot onto that field at the AJ Bell Stadium,I knew I would love that club for the rest of my life. "Jackson Hastings"..

Gale if fit is better than Sneyd, Gale had a good season in 2020, Sneyd hasn't played well consistently since 2017. We have had his best years when he played with our outstanding pack in those cup years wins, but without that type of pack he is average.
His kicking isn't as good as people think either, was poor last year, he will set up some trys with kicks, but that's because that was our only option in many games.

I'm not going to argue who's the best because I think there both pretty average, but I think you'll be holding your breath when your half backs get tackled as both are made from digestives, we'll see what happens.

If it happens then we have two young lads to fill it, which will be a great long term benefit.
