I suspect there will ne more to follow. I'm moving into the packing it in camp where RL is concerned.

My goodness, professional sport at the Keepmoat is in dire straights at present. :(

It certainly is but here's hoping for some new signings to be announced at the awards ceremony. If that doesn't happen then it will be another kick in the teeth for supporters especially as other clubs have already been strengthening their squads.

I wonder how Sheffield/Dewsbury fans see these signings, they struggled last season and were just about not bad enough to go down. They're recruiting from teams that couldn't get promoted from the division below.

I know it's not as simple as that

I suspect they're probably not overjoyed. Fans prefer to see players coming to their club who are proven at a higher level rather than coming up from the tier below.

From the Dons' fans point of view it doesn't look very good that these players have chosen to go to struggling Championship sides rather than stay here.

I understand it's probably much to do with money coupled with the players not knowing whether League One will exist for much longer. I do get why they may want to leave for those reasons but does it also mean (a) our club couldn't persuade them we have sufficient ambition, or (b) we can't get near to matching the wages of the likes or Sheffield/Dewsbury?

The Connor Robinson signing has certainly sparked the club faithful on the supporters facebook page.

One swallow does not make a summer. Plenty more signings for this quality are needed to compete with relegated teams the improving Wales side, they no doubt heavily "backed" Cornwall and an already strong Cougars.

Fundamentally, humans over-react to both negative and positive news. The truth is almost always somewhere in between.

It's nice to get some good news for a change though!
