Every day that passes, with another L1 grade player being signed and no information on anything in terms of where we will be playing, or the status of the aussies we are targeting is a day where another fan may become a lapsed fan.

Yup over promise under deliver is never any good. Bearing in mind they will want to sell STs shortly I assume they are holding back the 5/6? players we have on our books but have not announced. Let’s hope they wow us but I suspect a healthy proportion will be Academy players being given 1st team contracts.

To me its very simple. the have a circle they cannot square

1) They probably want to charge 25GBP for walk up price, so they can discount to 20GBP for ST (Members)
2) But last year showed that nobody will pay 20GBP for a team who will be battered week on week let alone 25GBP
3) So they might be thinking about 20GBP walkup, but then how much can they discount to make the ST attractive as 15GBP for ST will be too low
4) So they probably cannot go below 20GBP even for ST holders, but then how many people will buy a ST (probably 50 max)
5) They know all the signings they are making are not going to enthuse people to come running for Season tickets
6) So they hold off the annoucment as they need to charge 20 at least, but need more people to buy at 20, so wait and hope some act of god happens to change the dilemma they have

It could be that the 200K rent is based on playing in the Championship (I remember reading somewhere that it would be 500K if we in SL), so if we are in L1 would that mean contractually we would not have to pay 200K a year... It does make you think
