carnt remember which game it was ,but it was nighttime blowing a gale and chucking it down with rain, and he kicked a goal from the halfway line.to win us a game.it was a televised game .

born in airlie str,1939.german landmine that fell on boulevard, also blew up half of our house.thats why i dont like germans.not because they blew our house and boulevard up,but because the gerry pillock was aiming for craven park.

Marc has been absolutely metronomic with his goal kicking EY, and until only very recently the best kicking half in the game, drop goals, touch finding, place kicking, he’s been a match winner so many times, his value to our team will become even more evident as time goes on without him, in those moments when the game is won and lost, we will miss his calmness.

Having said all that, as Wilf has alluded to recently, the equilibrium at our club wasn’t quite right, and apparently the time was right for him to move on, definitely a good financial move for him.

And if Luke Gales appointment is a one year deal, in the circumstances if we can get a year, or more out of Gale, that is probably the best outcome we could have hoped for, as there aren’t a lot of halves available.

But when I first heard the news about Sneyd leaving us, I must admit it saddened me, so underrated, but a big match player without doubt.

the best end to a game in my 43 years watching, ran close by the 2016 million pound game

I would have stuck with Sneyd over Gale, but it's done, and we move on.

Keeping Sneyd would of just meant more of the same for next year and would likely of cost Hodgson his job once the poor performances started again. Letting him go and bringing Gale in will allow us to go in a different direction which most of us fans have been crying out for for years - it might even mean an end to five drives and a kick!!!!

Probably agree with that Seb, although let’s say hypothetically, we moved Jake to his preferred position, brought Hardaker in as full back, and somehow worked Reynolds out, this would give us a better balance.

It’s a Sunday, just meandering :D

Connor and Hardaker would too busy needling each other to be winding up the opposition.
