Well I've just emailed the club to say that I received their begging letter....sorry player sponsorship information and it is being processed, but due to covid restrictions on working practices here in New Zealand, it might take longer than normal for me to decide I won't give the club a brass farthing until they announce the full squad and what players are available. I recall trying to sponsor a player as a gift for my daughter in 2007 and being too late to the party in December....I wonder if the shelves will be bare this year before Christmas (or if we will have announced our squad)?
jaybs wrote:The simple answer is NO! I received a letter from the DLVA today, confirming they did receive my application on the 18th July online, and that is still not ready to be sent out, the manager admitted, The DLVA have high standards, but they accept in my case they have not kept that standard, and finished, we do not know as presently when it will be ready to send out.
But I feel more for the people have retired this year, and are still to receive their first pension payment from the Government.
Bloody hell- is Dido Harding running the DVLA these days?

Starting to accept that lol, but I will keep on driving until the police stop me one day, at least I now have the letter received yesterday from DLVA, to show the friendly policeman/

This might be causing some problems at the DVLA Jaybs............

Wales seem to have been hit badly, but I do think the DLVA should have some back up, what would happen if the building should ever burn down? would licences etc should come to a complete halt. Feel for youngsters, it is not cheap these days with lessons.
At the fear of getting us back on thread, I see that the club skipper's better half is now the 'go to address' for sponsorship. Having been the clubs somewhat freelance snapper for a while, it seems that a 'salary' may be in the offing......whch begs the question, "what is our head of commercial up to"?
Can we expect a global brand to adorn the front of the shirt this year?
