maybe Leeds are paying a portion of his salary,to release him???
I think the offer of 3 years and to be near the family home would be too good to turn down at his age, that is a long contract and surely makes his life easier. I understand why he's gone and I wish him well, he was playing behind a beaten and, at times , seemingly disinterested pack last year and I doubt there is a scrum half in the game who could have shone in that situation.
Gale scored 112 tries in his careers Vs sneyds 33, definitely more of a running threat and a backing up player rather than just kicks to a big winger on the 5th

Not too sure Gales the answer, but I think if he does arrive it's a stop gap 1 season thing, with a view to making an aussie signing the season after.
Wondering how much wage Sneyd release has freed up.

He hasn’t signed yet, so no one knows how long it could be for. As I said earlier, ifs, buts and maybes plus a little bit of here say.
We should be more direct in attack next year with Lovodua and Gale in place of Sneyd and Houghton.
Problem is Reynolds and Gale aren't robust enough to see out a full season. I've banged the Hampshire drum for long enough who would be a good 3rd choice pivot.
Wonder if there is any legs in the Miller return rumour too.
Got to give it to Hodgson though, he's seen what the gaps in the squad are and he's looking to fix it.

Seems odd then that we've happily re-signed every member of that beaten/disinterested pack that was out of contract.

As it stands I don't think we have any available non-fed spots so we couldn't sign Miller.
