Have they stopped giving out bans that carry into the season, for incidents in friendlys? Noticed we've had those in the past, the rules need to be clear
I know we were linked also with Evans I think he will be a good signing, my niggle would be he only averages 17 games per season over his career in the NRL. Other than that he has some good attributes like an offload and he appears to be an enforcer which can be a real plus but also a potential issue see how he goes in SL new chapter and all that.
A good and much needed signing - we now have the makings of an awesome foursome if Tag keeps fit , I think it is far too early to write Taylor off, he’s been a great servant and hard as nails , fingers crossed we get the old Tag next year, we now lack only a half back but if the pack can dominate then Snead can be effective - no number 7 shines shines behind a beaten pack and this will also allow Jake to pick his moments - overall we’ve got to thank AP- he’s put the money in again and let’s hope this time we make it pay - welcome Kane Evans , I’d rather see him than the likes of Vete and Simms who are our neighbours enforcers .

It looks like 2 friendlies count (and one academy), subject to blah, blah.......
I did read somewhere that if Evans ever returned to the NRL, he'll still have a 6 match ban to serve, so who knows?

There's no such thing as an enforcer nowadays, punches can't be thrown so they've died out. I think he'll be a good signing for you guys but Vete, Sims AND Satae were no great shakes first season so what's to say Evans won't be the same. Tetavano came over on big money but didn't exactly pull up trees did he, it says a lot about the overseas props in SL when the HDMs combined nations team for 2022 still has Fafita in it

He won a two horse race against Wakefield
Not sure about that one, read the Cas forum, according to Nottingham Tiger he was nailed on to sign for them, plus Evans was mentioned all over Super League.
