My opinion he should stand down and let some one else have go as I have no confidence in him at all
soz...my misread your intent.
I agree about Rimmer, but he's not alone in the dock. As everyone knows, it is the "money" that runs professional sport, so we have SKY followed by a handful of SL owners who dictate the way the game is run, at least in the top 2 or 3 tiers.
The Middle 8's was designed to allow aspirant owners, currently not at the top table, to have a crack whilst also lighting a fire under those owners who were perhaps "happy" with mid table.
Wakefield, Bradford, Salford, HKR, Leigh, Catalans, London, Toronto all took part in the "game of death", but such jeopardy wasn't for everyone, so we returned to one up one down inside 4 seaons.....franchising was given slightly longer and dare i say it only covid has stopped the deckchairs being moved on the titanic again this year.
The sport needs an independent leader.....one that doesn't "heel" to the SL owners, but has "THE GAME" at the forefront of all decisions...sadly it won't happen in my lifetime.
