I see Widnes are not worrying about money they have just signed 4 Oldham players. The players do not have a bad pedigree as they have either come through Widnes academy or through SL teams academyies.
I suspect as with this season only 2 sides will be concerned about the economic climate and not spend until the last moment they will be Sheffield and us. Like us Sheffield had a decent starting line up but when injuries hit had little depth. Like us they had a disappointing season but did not go bust. But neither did any of the free spending clubs.......

One small difference, signing for Widnes, part-time, you will not have to travel far from home for training or live in the most expensive place in the country. Winder like any Championship Club lost one of there too young players to Saints this week, doubt any Transfer fee involved!

I pointed out the problem of players moving to London in a previous post.

Sadly only surprise here is Aston not going to Sheffield. However, see my earlier post about Sheffield being the only other ditherers in the league so perhaps not so surprising.
So Coach says several of current team have been signed up for next season but doesn't say who. Seems he has caught the Broncos Communication bug already.

Not only that, we have signed some exciting young players from around the UK and some Aussies as well, all on multiyear contracts!

I don't understand the vagueness of the comments.
Either the Aussies are coming or they aren't. the main stumbling blocks of a visa application are: 1. Police check 2. Income to be received ...er.....that's it.
We will be part time, but the aussies will have to be full time employees, or they ain't coming.
