The standard of SL this season has been absolutely woeful with 99% of games being an absolute snoozefest.

Union has easily overtaken league in this country from a spectators point of view. More skilful and more exciting

SL is like watching a bunch of under 8s having their first training session together having never played the game before.

Watching Hull KR last night was akin to watching a slapstick comedy. All it needed was some benny hill music

The reason for the "kick n clap" tag is due to the "to me to you" tactical kicking that takes place in union and sod all to do with kicks to touch and in the case of RL a kick on the last play.

Surely you knew this.

As for the games merging, if RL TV revenues continue in their current death spiral, the game will have to go semi pro and who knows what happens then.

Certainly looks quite clear that Union has taken a major backward step. Hence you trying to promote it using League as an excuse. League must be doing something right. Thanks for the post..

Even last nights "slapstick comedy" was significantly better than the aptly named Yawnion, especially at international level, where the home nations prefer to gain penalties than put the ball over the whitewash.

Tell me something. Why is the in goal area so deep in Union ?
I presume its so that the endless kicks dont do dead, as it's sure as hell not to have a larger area for tries to be scored
