in last weekends games, the average that I can find was 36 kicks from hand per game.........and apparently we call them kick and clap....time to admit that the game need to merge and Wigan can hammer everyone

So 36 kicks from hand, maybe 18 per team, so 9 set completions with a kick on last tackle from each team per half, probably 3 attacking kicks, 3 from mid-field and 3 from inside their own 40m - I'm not really seeing the point you're trying to make, do you suggest more teams should run it on the 5th and this would make the game better ?

Exactly. Even Scotland v Italy would have had more kicks than our games. Ireland v England would have had nearly 20 more.

Nathan Cleary kicks from hand on average 18 times a game, Jarome Luai 5 times....that's 23 kicks per game from one of the NRL grand finalist sides....it's not nonsense at all.
5 drives and a kick....and the Panthers will probably win the NRL. If not, they'll lose to a side who kicks about 19 times a game.
I'm not saying make teams run it on the last, but simply pointing out that league involves nearly as much kicking from hand as union.........

Calling something nonsense because you can't handle the stats is a tad childish.

So even if the opposition do the same thing, it's less than pretty much every game in the 6 nations that you listed above?

I never said we kick more, but simply highlighted that if the panthers and bunnies stay true to the stats in their GF, there will be a kick from hand every 2 minutes.....gripping stuff.

Anyone who simply puts down the amount of kicks Cleary makes in a game doesn't watch Penrith Panthers.

His kicking game is superb. Half backs which can kick accurately to a teammate and use the right amount of power to force goal line drop outs numerous times is a godsend.
