Sanderson never got a chance. Was in the 21 on numerous occasions but hardly ever got a start. Kear bigged him up at the start then never played him. Don't understand this signing at all.

As Bullseye said Sanderson got injured for a number of games but couldn't then get back into the side on his return. We don't see them training either.

Hamlett got some opportunities but never really stood out.

Hall & Gill are definite improvements on them.

What i'm saying is he was in the 21 regulatly so presumably was fit. If not why name him.

Hamlett was a level above Burton but suffered from being in the side that was hammered twice by Fev. These lads need to go to League 1 and play regularly. Good luck to them.

One thing John Bastian said that is 100% right is that young players need to play games to develop. You can train all day but actual games are where you learn most. If I were a 20/21 year old I'd want to be playing and not being 21st man each week.
