So he trains till 2 flies up to Manchester for 7 does his thing then comes back down tonLondon for captains run on Saturday morning. Yes I suppose it’s feasible.. but the most likely explanation is he ain’t playing. As for signing for Leigh.. it seems to me Leigh, not withstanding the way they treat players when things go wrong and that the sun deck business is surely not the most lucrative business in the Uk do seem to have an inexhaustible supply of funds for Championsip players and sign pretty much everyone spare but I. Might be wrong.
So with a few hours to go let’s turn to the matter in hand. Do we think we’re going to win this match and hit the minimum standard? My feeling is with all that happened and with a thin squad/ pretty heavy injury list we aren’t I m very much afraid to say. York were poor when the played us and have disappointed all year but, sadly, They seem though to be winning more frequently in recent weeks and I think they’ll do it again today. I really hope we give it a go and really hope we don’t concede from kick off. What do others think?
For us, I think it always depends on who plays. If as you have suggested there is 3 of that 21 deffo not likely to start then I would be surprised (but delighted) if we won. Question is, are the club that concerned given that qualifying for the playoffs means spending more money on probably a meaningless game given we cannot win the playoffs?

Watching Newcastle against Toulouse yesterday, most teams would save a lot of money and throw in the towel, for some reason RFL have been intent on two French teams in Super League, I await both of them appearing at Wembley or Old Trafford. Toulouse have been given every assistance possible this season, they are going to really have a Big Off Day to lose now! sad the attendance, perhaps fans were told it would be a walkover. save your money.
I think you are right jaybs, the RFL have wanted 2 French teams in SL (not sure SL clubs do though) & it makes sense in terms of driving the game over there. However, that seems at odds with how little they do to support a club in London. A strong competitive Broncos or another entity in London would do so much for the credibility of the game but they just don't get it. Sad really.

Playing so few games could have made them rusty but, in fact, it has left them rested and way too good. Very little interest for the fans of other teams in seeing TO turn them over. I’ll be delighted to see the back of them for a year. Having said that, as it stands, there could be quite a few teams next year who hand us punishment beatings.... assuming we don’t sign anyone ...like everyone else is doing.
If the conspiracy theorists are right, why on earth did the RFL not give the SL slot to TO rather than Leigh when they had the chance? Reckon they would have been more competitive and would have been able to play majority of games home and away.
An awful lot of folk last year were shocked that they didn't get the slot, now we have folk complaining and accusing RFL of dodgy dealings because they have gone through season 100%. and obviously are faves to go up. They still need to win play offs. If they screw it and don't go up then we could look at next season watching Fev or maybe Halifax getting tanked every week. Reckon Toulouse could compete.

Doubt the RFL have it within their gift to put anyone into SL without the SL teams agreement. Would they want to pay for a trip to France or wander down the road to Leigh. Bit of a no brainer really. Toulouse with their 3 Broncos will still find it hard if they can't invest but agreed they stand the best chance of any of staying up.

When you’re right, you’re right but I’m not sure it was the ideal per match prep. I see Lovell is also playing despite being in a boot last Sunday and Chamberlain too despite being signed off for the season. He was ball boy last week and off crutches but had a noticeable limp Somali don’t know what’s going on.
