I've tried to not go off on a rant the last few weeks because I realise this season has been heavily disrupted, but that was a completely unacceptable display.

Lifeless, passionless, error strewn...and all in front of fans who haven't been for a while and friends of fans we lured in with free tickets.

Serious doubts about Hodgson now, he isn't motivating his team, standard of play is getting worse not better and we can't blame everything on Covid and injuries, other teams have had the same challenges.

6 defeats in the last seven? Usual end of season (barring last year) for us lot really and a pretty poor showing with ideas and guile at a premium I have to say that I think that Adam Pearson and everyone who turned up today deserved better for Wigan were very poor. You know with little cash available and some players still protected with contracts that could cost a lot to buy our way out of, for next season, the thought of three down and one up next year doesn't inspire me much with anything but dread and we have shown nothing of late but relegation form with that set up. Massive change of culture needed same old issues from the same old players but how we manage to change it financially is the big worry!

For me Pearson needs to gamble on a big statement move, pay a big name off, pay a transfer fee for a big name etc probably one last roll of the financial dice to try and avoid pass sales falling through the floor.

Willing to even pay extra for my pass, chuck some money in a 'Go Fund Me' to make that happen, I can't face sitting through another season of dross.

What would a go fund me page achieve.

You'd need 300k at least to get someone on a multi year deal. We all took the mickey out of Rovers when they did it, and rightly so.

We need the right people in the organisation, not necessarily the most expensive

Very poor way to end the season and whenever the club tries to promote itself the team let us down. Before you all sling your passes in the bin, remember that IF!!! you’re renewing, save them or it will cost you for a new one.

What's the answer then?

I have little faith in the clubs scouting, someone looked at Johnstone and thought a 3 year deal was a good idea

AP must be gutted. They could have at least sent us away on the back of a good performance, win or lose.
Wigan were just as plodding as us.

Can only be a catalyst for change I think now. Good or bad. The boos at the end said it all.
