Point is. Rugby League seems to be adopting that approach too. The top clubs would rather cull a few smaller ones for the sake of a pay day. London aside (Hughes is obviously still intending to pay the rent etc), clubs like Coventry have already said that this could be the end for them. I am sure the good folk at Skolars will be anxiously awaiting news of their loss of income, but with 200 fans maybe paying a tenner each, their reliance on their benefactor will be key......and all the while, trying to attract GOOD QUALITY" players from the north.
Therefore we get to play London youth whilst underpaying them and losing the best to either Union or the vultures in the North. Personally, I believe that if we do 'sign" a player, then the RFL must step in to protect us from losing that player for a pittance. Kai Pearce-Paul springs to mind....he wasn't even scouted. Radlinski is on record as saying that they only noticed him when they couldn't handle him in an academy game and snapped him up....vultures.
Lanegan was cliaming Pearce Paul came through the Wigan system yesterday.
It will literally be a case of last one out turn off the lights. I'm trying to stay away from all things Broncos, tbh I gave up a while ago with the shambles that is the club, but it's so hard. Keep finding myself being drawn back and each time I do my blood boils.

How do you think I feel.
Repeatedly shouted down and banned from multiple sites for saying that both the club and the game where on a trajectory of irrelevance as a professional entity 20 years ago if they didn't act and slowly but surely the club and sport have done exactly that.....neither has "suddenly" hit the crapper and both have slowly killed themselves through neglect. If Rugby League was a child, it would have been taken into care by the Child protection lot years ago as the RFL are bad parents. Hughes is a single parent who just can't cope......

This isn't artistic licence- it's lying.

I do worry about the number of senior moments I'm having but there was something else Lenegan said few weeks ago. Trouble is I can't remember if I heard or read about it. Either way, he does seem to be losing the plot compared to when he was with us.

It seemed certain at one stage that Lenaghan was set to buy Wigan Athletic, another big millionaire came on board, that would have guarantee Wigan Warriors an home! as I said yesterday now the new owner want more rent of The Warriors and to pain the ground blue and white! Simon Moran at Warrington seems to be one of the few owners, along with Huddersfield Giants Ken Davey and his Family. Someone needs to get a Grip, but Super League owners are only interested in themselves?
