Bowden will be on his way out and Taylor we have lost now to injury two seasons in a row.
Last season played only 11 games
This season is worse only eight league games and one cup match.
Out of the eight league games he started only four with the other four off the bench.
my opinion is he is finished as a top front row.
If we can find two big experienced forwards then we have a pack that can compete with most teams.
Reynolds is another doubt due to past injuries and whether he goes another season will depend on how bad this current injury is but he has intimated his possible retirement.
The less said about Sneyd the better. We have a non running, erratic passer of a ball who can kick goals but cant tackle so my concern is at halfback because we are stuck with Sneyd but could lose Reynolds.

Sneyd is a match winner end of. Who has had to play behind an ineffective go forward for the past two years and slow PTB which limit his options and kicking.

I dont get why people cant see that, they just blame Sneyd. Look at how slow our PTB is and the poor distribution that follows it.

It amazes me that people berate the only guy on the team that actually knows how to win a game gets the stick he does.

My main issue is watching our forwards strive for an extra two metres only to be pushed on there back. In the modern day you try to pierce the line or get to the ground as quick as possible. Thats our problem, too many puddings trying to run over people. Only Satae has that ability.

Cross your fingers everyone!

I doubt this guy has the money to invest in the club with a nett worth of $100 million USD
In any case Allam will move the goal posts as usual when he unveils the new EFL loan on the books and the 5 million he wants for the SMC

Might help if he learnt how to tackle
the game was lost against Leeds conceding two tries as a result of Sneyds poor efforts to tackle the runner
His options are not limited due to our ineffective go forward .He has only one option and its a kick.
No doubt you will find an excuse to cover his defensive liability

Not at all, its not his strong point but you dont buy a half for defensive abilities. So you dont think our slow PTB and our distribution are effecting his game ? The game also wasnt lost because of his defence against Leeds. He tried changing the momentum a few times with some long drop outs and deep kicks. Our inability to keep our disclepline and win the wrestle cost us. Was a ticking timebomb tgat defeat.

When we get the above our halfs always get the ball to Connor in space. As it stands now our threats are shut down hence why we have to use the inside ball. Josh Reynolds a former state or origin half is also struggling under the same conditions. I fail to see what a different half back can do given the time and space he has to play with.

I tell you now, he will be the most marked man on our team.

What are his stong points?

As it certainty isnt running or passing.

His long kicking isnt great either and his short kicking is very inconsistent, we score a ot of trys from his cross field bomb, but that's because it's our main tactic and we go it so often it will come off, also without Connor it wouldn't work nearly as much.

He is great if you are winning by a score with 5 minutes or need a drop goal to win ( although not this season)

He has been poor for 3 seasons now, what other halfback in SL doesn't score a try or set up a try with a pass,?

There has been plenty of games this season where our pack has done its job, only to be let down by our creative players.

Sneyd isnt our only problem but certainly a big one with his form the past few season.

I agree with this. For a half not to score a try shows he doesn't run at the line. His kicking assists will get decent numbers, but that is due to how Connor can attack the ball and leap more so than a fantastic kick.

Cant argue with the fact he doesn't take on the line enough, however, to suggest that it is more down to Connor than Sneyds placement is laughable. Connor can't catch the ball if it isn't in the right place in the first instance.

Who do you think creates the space for Connor to play in. Our pack has done its job ? My grandparents can play the ball quicker. Sneyd is an organiser, not a creative half and is long range kicking will always be hard against a beaten pack. Look at the metres made this year and then tell me this pack has done its job.

Hes not perfect but he is not the problem, there is about 10 players if not more I would get rid of. You cant slate him either for playing to his strengths either. I couldnt care less if he kicks or passes, he is creating opportunities and he isnt the problem. Anyone who thinks replacing him would change this team are seriousley uneducated about Rugby League and I dont care how long youve watched for.

Name another half in SL who job is to organise, every other half in the league can either put a player through a gap, make breaks or both.

Sneyds passing is rubbish, put another half who could pass at 7 and Connor would be even better, but Connor in Saints or Catalans he would get even more space as he would be playing with halfbacks who can pass.

Leeds at home we dominate the first half, but create nothing, Wigam in the cup we totally dominate, but rely on barge over trys. plenty of games we have dominated and the pivots including Sneyd have failed to perform.

You cant carry a halfback that cant run, tackle or pass.

I would ask where this new 7 is coming from? And also one who doesn't miss tackles? Scrum half's have and will always be targeted by the big guys, half backs are only any good if the forwards are laying the platform and giving them time to operate. Drinkwater is a prime example at kr behind a weak pack at the time had little to contribute now back behind Catalans dominant huge forwards he looks a totally different player.
And if I may add Danny Brough 3 tries 2 drop goals- Kevin Harkin 19 tries- Peter Stirling 9 tries - Marc Sneyd 19 tries 35 dg's
