The dark side are looking at a shortened version of the game along the lines of the IPL and 100 in cricket.

I've not a clue if it will work, but they're at least looking outwards and at new ways to engage with an audience, whilst we'll be hanging our hat on Saints v Wigan 4 times a year :CRAZY:

It would seem that this is funded "outside" the IRB, so won't cost them anything.......that said, the IRB are not keen an anyone or anything messing with their game, so whatever happens, it'll get messy..
