He knows City alone cant run the MKM thats why he has the threats to leave IMO. There is no denying he is stripping back costs, that is happening everywhetr and not just in sport. At no point though has he said he is selling the club or looking to walk away, like a certain chairman we know.
Id be happy to strip the playing staff back and go with some young guns, half these lot aint worth the salary they are paid anyway. Its not as if players are not being paid or the rent at the stadium. We arent as strong pre covid but are far away from bankruptcy, as certain red and whites hope for.

Connor Carlos Swift Griffin Satae Savelio Brown
Which says alot about the form or quality of our squad.
Shaul Carlos Connor Griffin Satae Taylor ( if he could stay fit ) Savelio
Shaul can do something from nothing no one apart from Griffin can do that
Swift has had a good year but he's very replaceable if he left
Brown is always this could be that man and has been for about last 2 years.....but hasn't shown much these days he won't stay a youngster forever

Is Hodgson the new Griffin, or is it all about pace?
Don't understand how we can be linked with this guy, if we are in the financial mire some people suggest, probably a wild rumour , but if true, he'd be a great player to replace some of elements that are sadly aging and no longer effective in what was a great pack of forwards at one time. I think Pearson trusts Hodgson, who is bound to have some contacts in the NRL and thought we'd sign some lesser known players that turn out to be gems, never thought we'd be linked to players of this stature and still think this is way off - he'd get a squad place in every NRL side and is a regular for the Roosters, so why he'd choose to earn considerably less in a competition that is so inferior doesn't really add up.

Am I the only one who doesn't particularly rate Ligi Sao? The general consensus seems to be that he's been a great signing and one of our best players. He has his moments and has put in a few strong performances but I often find him fairly ineffective. The only high quality prop in our squad is Satae (maybe Taylor if he can ever get injury free again).
If it was fantasy rugby league I'd say we needed a big squad overhaul, but obviously that's not realistic. So I'd settle for a quality prop and hooker this off season. Its hard to know what direction we are heading on or off the field. The worst thing is I'm struggling to care at the minute.

I like Ligi. Very consistent for me. Gets through alot of work and plays big minutes. We've had games this season when he has been our only 'senior' prop and had to cary the pack. Hudds game at home springs to mind.
He has made the odd error or given away a penalty, but I think that is more down to him playing big minutes under fatigue in the middle for us.
