Got a stay of execution with Martin's missed conversion.

Some improvements in offence but the defence especially on our left was poor for much of the game.

Looking like an 8th place finish, which is a massive disapppointment. The wheels fell of at the end of June. Sitting in 5th looking good then we had the Rovers/Salford/Leigh postponements and came back after a break with poor defeats to Huddersfield and Leeds.

How did we throw that away, I thought we played well upto about 60 minutes, then we just hit a wall physically, and unravelled mentally.

We need to improve our fitness
The organisation from Sneyd and Houghton isn't good enough, they both were playing pretty well with some big moments in the game, but then they spoil it with some atrocious decisions making and brain farts. As some one pointed out not even being at the ay the ball is criminal and we're seeing it often.

The set of 6 in golden point. We're on tackle 4, 35 yards out, all you have to do is give it to Satae for the final drive, then setup the drop goal attempt who's organising? As instead we think it's the final tackle and start throwing it around panicking, absolute shambles.

New spine and leaders needed.

Thought Connor was brilliant, as well as Savelio and Mau, thought Fonua was steady too no brain farts.

Be interesting if they can though with the situation in terms of contracts as certainly some poor decisions made with recruitment that has us back in a hole which is a repeat of the start of AP’s ownership and all the work done by Motu has been undone.

My mojo has pretty much gone for FC. Didnt even watch the first half. Watched the second and wasnt impressed. Teams a shambles, no organisers, effectively playing with about 11 mean as Scott and Bowden are absolutely useless. Theres a making of a good side there but not under this coach. Hes naive, talks a good game, but hasnt actually got much of a clue but thats what happens when you pluck lower grade coaches out of the NRL and expect them to be amazing over here - Hes akin to Craig Sandercock was at Rovers imo. Not his team i know but hes done nothing with what hes got just made them be more disorganised.

Fair summary and to be honest I actually thought Johnstone had a better game than he done for a while.

Houghton again not being ready at ptb is criminal

Happy to be wrong earlier, the lads had a good dig tonight but just looked rudderless at times. Poor discipline and lacklustre defending will be the story of this season.

Can't say fairer than that. Can you imagine how bad we would be without Connor :|

We looked gassed near the end, but 10 points up in the 2nd half we should've closed the game out.

If we go into next season with the same roster we'll get the same results.

We're not big enough to steamroller teams anymore, but we're not smart/quick enough to take advantage of teams either. We're some dull in the middle team.

What frustrates me is we have the team we never get a quality coach to make it work! Hodgson really?

Spend spend on the coach!

I think if the disallowed try had been given we would have won. Video refs seem to dislike us for some reason. Looking on though, problem for us is that a lot of our players are still signed on for next year. I’m sorry, but we have a lot of bang average and also some declining players who we need to move on. Unless Pearson can get his wallet out and Hodgson is strong and makes a lot of changes, next year isn’t going to be much better. I think we need two or even three new props, a second row, new hooker, and another quality centre, maybe even a 6 or 7. I know this sound drastic but who we have at the minute just ain’t good enough consistently and our second string and young lads are poor, we have no strength in depth. All down to money though and I don’t think we have any.
