He:s an ex-Chairman and the man who co-wrote the DHFC revitilization plan back when they got gates of 170 and were widely disliked locally due to mis-management of their facilities by the then owner. The co-writer of the policy also supported Broncos but is now deceased. Put simply the two of them saved the club
The deceased lad is the one Monkey said on here he couldn't see what he had to learn about club revitilization from a librarian when I recommended the duo as a source of free advice. Totally ignoring the fact the bloke had won two serious national awards for his work at DHFC and chose to work for the club he loved for free, which is why he remained a librarian. The change in that attitude to the point where Monkey is reputedly going out and consulting is why I will give him a little credit. It must have been rather humbling to realise the librarian he had nothing to learn from delivered much better results

The hosts of the meeting have said they will share the discussion points widely with supporters Soonest. I will be consolidating the points in this thread and emailing them in advance.

Being mindful that the CEO and commercial mgr aren't going to release certain business planning/decisions to the wider public or answer pressing internal business critical questions, here is a list of questions im planning to forward to the meeting hosts. Is there more I could add??
Communication;
Limited communication in 2021. Why has it been so limited. Why isn’t communication consolidated and ‘official’ ie same messaging on email, FB, instagram, twitter…….. Some ‘official’ communication responsibilty appears to have been passed to some supporters. Is the wise??
Club strategy
Where is the club looking to be in 2, 5, 10 years? The club appears to have gone from a mix of quality players from both the UK and Australia with a few academy players to one principally based on ex academy players. Is this the future? Is there an ambition to get promoted to SL? The coaching team has gone from 3 to 1 in a matter of weeks. Is the club looking to back fill the vacancies to a full compliment?
Wimbledon
There was an initial communication regarding Wimbledon from the CEO but nothing has followed. Is there more to come? What is the plan for the move Are we looking to ‘launch' the move as a new future for the club (Given the increased cost of the stadium) and will this mean a more competitive team
Supporters
Since The Stoop days the supporter base attending matches has dropped from 3-5000 to todays numbers of less than 1000 (Accepting the club is now in the championship). Are the club looking to win back the lost supporters and if so, how? Can the supporters assist in promoting the club. At Brentford supporters delivered leaflets to the local community Will the club be targeting new/different demographics as potential supporters Buck & Dusty were part of the club branding (and attractive for the kids) are we looking to enhance the clubs branding?

It appears that the fiasco of 2021 has persuaded him that perhaps others may know a bit more than him. If so, credit to him for waking up. Here's hoping he'll listen and it's not token. Shame about the damage already inflicted by the 2021'plans though.
WQ my question. Are the club aware that 25% of the Scottish Premier League is supporter owned? Those clubs receive substantial income from Trust members making monthly donations to the Trust which then part fund the club, alongside the club's commercial revenues.
One of those clubs, Hearts, is way bigger than Broncos ever will be but two, St Mirren and Motherwell, are not much bigger than Broncos once were.
It's a given this method of funding is not currently available to Broncos given they have devastated their own support base. However: -
Do they regret not working with LBSA to establish such a scheme when it may have been vtable, with David keeping control but LBSA getting equity in return for substantial funding.
If the support base recovers, and LBSA are interested, will the club investigate this funding model in the future?
Monkey wants full control of it all!! LBSA couldn’t be controlled so started his own OSG. Now heard from Sport Sources he does too much so wants to take a step back from everything!

If this is answered it needs to include what targets and contingencies are in place for "set backs" and outright failure. I would be stunned....but I'd like them to answer these simple questions What will be considered a success in 2022 in terms of: 1. fan attendances, 2. paid fan attendance, 3. ST sales, 4. INCOME from shirt sponsorship 5. Table position at seasons end.
Everything else is just window dressing....PR and communications are only key if you're planning to reach past your own fans, if which we have a couple of hundred.
My gut says this is an excercise in "saying sorry" and asking for a second chance and little else.....delighted to be proven wrong

Good luck to all the invited fans going to this...Hope that everyone gets an equal chance to let rip and that the slavish disciples dont try to dominate proceedings..

At times GF you really do show corporate naivety (maybe thats why you aren't employed by a global first world corporate.) Why would any company provide any response to points 2 and 4 (Add in 3) to a few fans in a pub? Just think that through.
Should I ask what DH input will be or current debt or maybe go the whole hog and request the LB 2020/21 detailed spend 'Spreadsheet'!
Mac out!
