Said earlier in the season that Taylor only played eleven games last season and missed most of this and i thought we have seen the best of him. Flabby, slow, no power. If he had been an opposition front row we would have been saying what a waste of space.

If he’s not fit, he shouldn’t be anywhere near the team. Jack Brown offers more at the moment. Looked to be really struggling to make any metres today.
Like Houghton he’s been flogged to death in previous years.

A really disappointing flat performance, and the curse of our home form bites yet again, only Manu and Ligi looked dangerous, even Big Chris and Andre looked poor.
Come back Scotty Taylor where have you gone, I’m yet to see any of Brett Hodgson influence on this team, it’s worrying once more we fail to deliver any real threat, in a game which was so important we failed miserably to an average Cas team. In truth we never looked like winning,
Thaler also had a shocking game, not using that as an excuse, all Cas had to do was work it wide, and that was us done. I’ve said it before, big pitch, slow team, bring back Ratu.
It looks like the dynasty of Tag Mint Bowden, Sneyd and Mahe is creaking like a giant tanker hitting an ice berg, almost ready to sink, and yet still afloat, just.
The big worry of course is our younger players are not really up to it, Macca, Scott, Johnstone, Brown are not pulling any trees up,
Perhaps the effort in a gruelling Derby took its toll on both Hull teams tonight,
8000 for a Thursday televised game was an outstanding effort from the Hull supporters, who didn’t deserve that rubbish, Nice to see Keith Rhino Boxall enjoying his moment,

Thought Mint was one of our better performer's. Taylor was awful. As in deed where most of Hull. Rovers where reported as very poor as well. Makes you wonder if the Derby took a bit more juice out of both teams. Still a very poor display. Gotta win on Monday.
once a black and white always a black and white COYH

Houghton wasn’t that good when he was good. Tackling machine whose distribution and running wasn’t anywhere what you would expect from an elite player. The guy is a myth based on one tackle and playing with a monster pack who steamrolled teams.

See Houghtons needless offside when we pinned cass on their line, Pearson was furious in the stands, down to 12 and sustained pressure and one of your senior players gives away a ridiculous offside like that.
Funny as before the game, it showed the Leeds highlights and he did the exact same against them, that led to a try. See the Cam Scott error, why isn't Houghton there playing the ball and getting the team set?
As the commentators said it was setup for him and sneyd to take control when Mcshane went off, yet they didn't.
Sorry but too many senior players have got in a comfort zone and are too sloppy. Sat on big contracts and not really performing. Happens across all sports.
I'd heard whispers about Taylor being nowhere near fit, showed last night he was out of puff after his second carry, again Where's the professionalism?
Sneyd was awol again, been way too inconsistent this season.
Probably the most unpopular opinion on here, but the truth hurts as they say, time for a new leadership group, but and it's a big but, but too many sat on nice cosy contracts and the academy products aren't good enough........
I'd be shaking it up next year, offering players to other clubs hoping we can shift some on, the captains group would definitely be getting disbanded and new players who put effort in week in week out and show some fight appointed.

Even at 19 you should be seeing signs of quality but there is nothing there to excite and given that he is not blessed with pace will i am certain end up as a nine in the Championship Young Pryce will have the pick of clubs when his contract is for renewal and the club should be doing everything in their power to try and bring him here.
Got to agree about McNamara - he looks to be too light framed. I know HKR Rowan Milnes is 21 but he’s miles ahead of Ben. If the club see something in Ben then they must give him time to develop at the moment he’s getting slaughtered.
AP must have been fuming. We undo the good work we did on Saturday. He’s previously said we needed to finish the season strongly to set us up for next year.
Wasn’t the fact we got beat, it was the lacklustre performance at home yet again. Cas weren’t anything that special, but we were clueless at times.
