You think that's a complete accident and he's challenging for the ball there? Just a complete coincident that his two fingers end up in the eye sockets of one of the players he'd been having a go at all night?
Seems to me he was trying to put Percival off catching the ball by getting in his line of sight (and not by literally blinding him, though that's what happened essentially lol.) but timed it wrong or was in that instance, reckless as oppose to intentionally trying to cause harm like he did to Welsby.

Isa was let off with the tackle to the head as it bounced up to the head. Thought these days that was a reckless challenge with contact to the head with a view to player welfare. Or was that only at the start of the season and the disciplinary have forgotten it now.

He's got the angle of his jump marginally wrong (easily done at speed jumping to catch a ball in the air before your opponent), reached out and lightly brushed the Saints player's face. It's a penalty for contact with the head. There's a world of difference between that and eye gouging, which is just never going to happen at speed or in the air unless he is secretly Neo from the Matrix.

It is. That doesn't mean every high tackle is a ban.

If you watch the clip back, he isn't looking at the ball. He definitely isn't challenging for the ball. He glances just after it's kicked then his eyes stay on Percival. They stay on Percival throughout the jump, he's really lucky not to get picked up for that. I really don't know why Wigan fans continue to defend him.

I don't see how any of the above turns lightly brushing someone's face into a "blatant eye gouge". He was picked up for it, the disciplinary panel said no further action for the same reasons I'm saying. There's bugger all in it.
