Early doors after his injury but by all accounts not been pulling up any trees at that level.

I didn't speak to a single person before the game who thought we were going to win and as good as the winning run has been I think that just reflects how short our squad is at this point. To be fair though listening to Grix's interview afterwards I think he summed it up perfectly saying it were up there with the Oldham game performance wise and we did not look like a team on a good run and had just had a week off.
I thought Calcott did a good job and he is one of the squad players that can come in to the team and not look out of place, the rest unfortunatley are not up to the task. They try hard but ultimatley we are a team in the playoffs with an outside chance of promotion and not a mid table league 1 team. Obviously that is not their fault though.
With Robinson back next week and guarenteed a spot after that performance its going to be a really hard decision who he comes in for as both Grix and Harris were as bad as each other and the squad does need a bit of a shake up. No mention of new players in the interview this week so we assume we are going with what we have so we need to pray for a bit of luck injury wise when we get to the playoffs.

Wasn't able to go today, but judging by the commentary on twitter sounded poor, Grix's interview refreshingly realistic and honest. Worry for him must be that he doesn't have the option to make many changes - and while I'm not suggesting a lack of effort from the players - they know that. Tangata will presumably come in next week and Robinson must play.

Simon Grix was on't wireless this morning and his opinion was that we were dire and it was a comical performance. Let's hope it's a one off and we start another run to take us into the play-offs. Up The Fax!
