.... thanks to your beloved rovers, who waved the white flag before the season was over, forcing a revamp of the playoffs to fit in with tv commitments.
Is Hodgson the new Griffin, or is it all about pace?

In fact I've noticed in a few televised games this season that Rovers always seem to get the benefit of close calls.

Loved this epic game which marked the 75th anniversary of the first year I saw a derby. Great to watch it live on TV too- it finished here after 2 am. A tribute to both teams for the effort put into the game and for both sets of fans who created such a magnificent atmosphere.Wish I could have been there to experience the occasion. My sister and a host of other family members were there to make up for my absence!
Sad to see that Cyril Sykes had died as he was part of the greatest pack of forwards that I have ever seen play, put together by Roy Francis back in the 50's. Only Johnny Whiteley left from that era.

The game has been going downhill slowly, and thanks to a very entertaining derby game on Saturday, it's certainly turned it back the other way a bit. Well done to both clubs. I really enjoyed it.

Thanks for your post as it good to hear neutrals view on the derby games, glad you enjoyed but not many of us will have enjoyed it due to the tension and for me it was more relief at the final hooter than anything until the Sunday
I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!
