The best moment in the match for me was when Crookes kicked the ball off, Jake caught it with his foot in touch and appeared to lose it, Rovers fan gave him it but he turned to them as he was carrying the ball the the centre spot and told them his foot was in touch, deathly silence from the Great Unwashed, still most of them would have got a free shower on the way out :D

I thought that was the best Derby for years and actually applauded Crookes’ try,

Can't remember which commentator it was, but one of them at one stage couldn't be bothered to say Ligi Sao so he just called him Lao instead.

My favourite was watching SKD's attempted 'chest-butt' on Connor while he was walking away laughing at him. Didn't want to know once a couple of our bigger lads came over.

It’s a pity it isn’t Fonua going to Cas and Faraimo staying.

I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

The best moment for me was Connor's no look flick pass that set up Faraimo's try. Simply magnificent,

Some absolutely weird behaviour on this thread by the way. I’m all for taking the proverbial out of each other but honestly, it’s a bit weird.

Onto the game, think your spine were just a bit better then ours, and you could see the value quinlan and Abdul bring to our team. It helped by you doing a job on parcel for all his want and scheming he didn’t really have a sniff. Mau, Tuimavave, Connor I’d say your top 3. Would have been a bit of a steal if we won to be fair I don’t think that obstruction try should have been disallowed but we stuck around and managed to keep in the game. The 10 minutes before half time I think damaged us most, 10-4 up to 10-16 on the back of terrible last tackle options and a kick out on the full. Criminal really and you lot were clinical in that period

Good game though, and should be the level & intensity we should aspire to across the board. You could see by neutrals reactions how much they loved it on social media, and probably was needed after the bore fest on Friday night.

Don’t think either team are a million miles away from been within the upper echelons of SL, just need to see some consistency really

Can't disagree with that.

Is Hodgson the new Griffin, or is it all about pace?

Too many errors for me, he can only play on the wing so waste of a quota spot, particularly if we keep Mitch.

I'd definitely release Fonua if we could though, thought he turned the corner when he first moved to the centre, but form has been poor and breaking club rules now is not a good example. Been very quiet on social media last week.
