Awful week all round for them after last week's puffery. John "best Rovers signing of my lifetime" Bastian scurries to the exit Banning for flare-throwing Beer/bourbon throwing at FC players from the North stand, sounds like it will be under investigation Beaten again by a team they've scorned as one dimensional thought the guile of Connor, footwork of Tuimavave and string-pulling of Sneyd - what's that, 2 years since they beat us?

Sneyd was the matchwinner (again) and the most impressive of the 4 half backs on display today with Reynolds the least impressive. Sorry that's my honest opinion. Rowan Milnes is going to play in a lot of derbies and is going to be a thorn in your side.
What a pity Jordan Abdull was not playing I think he would have run you ragged.
But hey if's and buts are for losers which is what Rovers were today albeit very narrowly.
We move on to Thursday when I expect Rovers to extend our lead over you in the table.
What a pity Satae wasn't playing. He'd have made Sims hobble from the pitch a lot earlier than he did. After giving it the big talk he went out there and made a whopping 9 tackles. Quite comfortably the worst signing of the season.

What a game - and the ref did all he could to keep Rovers in the game. There were so many bad calls from him. We had so many players coming back and to hold on was a beautiful thing. As I predicted at the start of the thread- Rovers bubble popped. Boy, there were some ugly Rovers fans on the TV. I just love seeing Carlos and Josh winding them up at the try LOL
My 2c worth:
1.Swift was a try - the ball came immediately backwards off his hand 2. Carlos - THAT WAS A TRY - absolute robbery 3. Burrito should have been allowed play on to score as well - again a dumb decision
That's 3 tries in the first half
4. The lift tackle on Lane was not given - UNREAL it wasn't given and led to more pressure. 5. Hall knocks on on his own 5 picking up the ball - that would change the game and it was a knock on 6. THIS IS IT - Rovers DG attempt in 1st half. Mental weakness all over it. Showed FC that rovers were scared. WHO takes a DG after 3-4 sets on the opponent's line??? 7. Adam's reaction to our 3rd try on half time - amazing 8. Out goal line D was terrific and holding up over the line so many times and the DG block on the hooter! 9. Good to see us move the ball wide in 2nd half instead of down the middle early in tackle count 10. I taught Jamie that tackle at Skirlaugh and that changes the game again 11. Carlos again robbed at the paly the ball - ref plays on and rightly so - WHO tells the ref to stop as that was bollox decision 12. Where was Cam Scott inn the game? needs to offer much more 13. Ma'u was devastatingly brilliant - best game in FC shirt and what an engine

Loved beating the World Champions today!
Some great performances on show from us. Nice to see Jamie back. Loved the way he went to Hooker straight away. Better passing from PTB and looking to back the runners up down the middle.

His tackle on the pudding Maher was absolutely beautiful.
