We've seen our squad depth is very shallow, we never replaced Ratu, Ellis or Jones. Huge chunk of cap there probably saved and contributed to covid difficulties.

People may think that we have a lot of cap space - but Ratu wasn't on much and 50% was offset due to him being new talent. Contracts for Savelio, Connor, Satae, Carlos will all have increases (with Connor, probably a big increase) so that doesn't leave much to use on new signings

Eaves is out of contract at the end of this year, and think he would be a good pick up for someone - has been a little unlucky with chances (Dodd getting gametime at hooker ahead of him for example) but is a decent player from what I have seen.

Smith is contracted until the end of next year, and whilst I suspect we wouldnt stop him if he wanted to sign with someone else, I think there are long term concerns with his health, as he has had problems with concussion - hes started wearing a head guard but we still havent seen much of him.

Taylor Pembleton is our current 19s hooker, and has high expectations in the next year or two - I would expect to see us have Roby and Lussick next year, and then Lussick and Pemberton the year after.

Ellis may have been on that when he first came but bit by the end. You forget that last year , he came out of retirement to help out so will have been nowhere 100k
