You cannot blame the rfl for clubs inability to ensure their players are sticking to the protocols. Not had this problem in NRL where if one person in the state gets covid they go into full lock down and bring in the military to enforce it.
Not sure what the RFL or the clubs can do about it, they follow government protocols, as presumably do the players as there are no restrictions on player movements now. The sport can’t afford to put in to place the NRL processes around bio security and why should the players have to?
Things will be easier in a few weeks when close contacts don’t have to isolate (assuming they have been double vaccinated).
If they increased the cap who could spend it? Maybe us and Leeds?
