He can't control his emotions and that's no good to us We can find better.
In the Wigan game when he accused Clubb of racism, he was screaming his head of at the television cameras like a crazy mad man at the end of the game.
Last night, after being sent off, he went chasing after Jones, looking to make a scene,
I don't like the character of the man.
Sorry but I just don't agree with you on this and think calling him a backside is pretty poor.
The incident with Clubb clearly upset and unsettled him but I personally thought he handled that well and I'm not sure which game you were watching but I never saw him screaming his head at a camera as a crazy mad man or otherwise. I saw him walking, facing and talking in to a camera, yes, quite animated, yes, as he was clearly angry and upset about something and understandably so. To say he was screaming his head off like a crazy mad man is way off the mark.
As for the Jones incident again it was clear on the images beamed to my TV that Jones came running in grabbing Savelio then threw the first punch with his right hand whilst holding on to Savelio's shirt collar (very much like ice hockey players do) Savelio took exception to that as most would and threw back in defence at which point Jones then covered up and other players smothered them both.
Its been quite evident form all the games against Huddersfield this season that there is some ill feeling between Jones and his ex team mates and in particular theres been a lot of needle between Jones with Mau and Savelio. So I think this has been brewing for quite some time and possibly even before he left the club. I would hazard a guess that there is more to Jones early departure from the club than the reason given. Also its very very rare to see a complete group of ex team mates have no dealings whatsoever with the departed player before or after a game as is evidently the case with Hull players and Jones. It begs the question as to the real reason of his absence from the club whilst as a player at Hull or should I say whilst supposedly a player at Hull FC.
You then notice Mahe Fonua going to the touchline with Savelio until someone from the Hull FC staff are there to usher him to the dressing room, which again indicates to me that there's more to last night than Jones just defending a player who was hit hard but fair.
This may just be my opinion and all hypothetical but when you look at everything that has gone on, I think its fair to say there is a high probability that something has gone on or rather off within the playing squad involving Jones which hastened his exit from Hull FC.

Danny probably still has a couple of years left, and it’s he, who should be the bench or stand in hooker now. unfortunately this way of thinking would also be detrimental towards Josh Johnstone, and I’m sad to say his future at the club must be in doubt.
Agreed as temporary measure or fix certainly an option but I think as good a servant as Danny has been to the club he is now very much at the tailend of his career and we need a quality replacement not a 'make do and mend'.

I put about this in the thread about when it was announced that he was leaving. It's no surprise players were furious about his conduct while at the club and I'm amazed it took until this game for it to boil over towards him. That said in the first game he didn't do a thing and was hiding most of the game.

I suggested Ben Mac as a position switch but that was more towards making sure Johnstone doesn't get on the pitch again for us.

I'm not sure whats happened to Jordan Johnstone as last season he was pretty affective under Last when starting games and spelling with Houghton but he really seems to have struggled this season when hes come on. I wonder if he is unhappy after starting games last season to then be playing very much a bit part so far this season?
Whatever it is I think its obvious he isnt a replacement for Danny Houghton and on present form is struggling to be a stand in which is disappointing.

He has gone backwards Chris, perhaps the absence of scrummaging, if that’s even a word, has found him out, there’s not the slightest break for these nuggety type players, stamina issues perhaps, the absence of pace?
But Danny is a hard act to follow, similar with the great James Roby I suppose.
