We took over 2,000 to Huddersfield on a Monday night in 2001
1st proper away game for 18 months was a poor following for me

The long kicking game was dreadful meaning we never made Huddersfield work to clear their line because too many of the kicks went dead.
People talking about converting Shaul into a hooker but I think it's Ben Mac that should be turned into a hooker. He doesn't have much pace but his passing is accurate and he is a good defender. He can't do any worse than Johnstone who seems so far out of his depth it's ridiculous and his attempt on Cudjoe for his try was just pathetic.
Good shout mc would be a good hooker and compared to Houghton and Johnstone looks like usain bolt
Glad people are finally seeing that Houghton offers nothing whilst one of the top earners Tackle 52 made his career
You simply can't fly on sentiment I totally agree but I have to say that however he plays now and in the future I will be eternally grateful to him for that crowning moment of my life.

Our coach begs to differ.
“I want to say how proud I am of how Andre has handled himself. He was put in a very hard situation and there’s never a right time for racism in sport or life in general.
“The fact is that Andre has stood up for himself, his culture and his ethnicity, and I’m really proud of his actions from start to finish.

You been in a time warp? 20 years ago and if its passed you by, we've just had restrictions lifted from a deadly world pandemic. I suppose going to a game of rugby isn't foremost in a lot of minds apart from us desperados.

It may well have been the first real away game in 18 months however It will take numbers a while to increase as there will be a number of people who are still lacking confidence in attending with the relaxing of rules, fewer people organising coaches etc and the numbers may never get back to pre covid numbers. Also I had tickets but was unable to go as I got pinged by the damn app and so now self isolating which is also something else to consider. I’d say all things considered it wasn’t a bad turnout for a Thursday night game that was also on SKY.
I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!
I thought Jones was looking for trouble all game last night and at the end made a point of finding it.
When Savelio was signed I was sceptical as i thought he was someone who had failed to settle at club after club but looking at his history he has not been at the that many. After a slow start I think he has been one of our better finds.
I thought Jones was going to be a good journeyman signing but was a complete disappointment and on the basis of what was said about his departure pretty unprofessional. Perhaps after Saints he thought he did not get the respect he deserves.
Let's see what bizarre decisions and justification the Disciplinary Panel come up with. Watson seems to be winding people up as much as possible immediately
I like the idea of trying McNamara at hooker. Last night was probably the first time I have been disappointed with Houghton. Admittedly in a poor overall team performance but I would have expected more spark and leadership from such a senior player. .

We need to replace the magnificent Danny Houghton with a top class nine, the talk of Shaul, Macca, and Johnstone as working in tandem is flawed, we don’t need an understudy, we need an improvement, which unfortunately none of these lads will be.
Danny probably still has a couple of years left, and it’s he, who should be the bench or stand in hooker now. unfortunately this way of thinking would also be detrimental towards Josh Johnstone, and I’m sad to say his future at the club must be in doubt.

Danny Levi could be an option only 25. Not got a look in at the Broncos, but he's too good for the Queensland league he's playing in.
Another guy I'd look at is Savili at Canberra. Different player to Levi but would improve us, again too good for the NSW Cup.
Ideally we'd have 2 overseas spots and sign a big lump to help Sao, Satae and Taylor.
Hopefully the playing time and investment in Brown will pay off, he's looked decent this year and if he can carry on improving I'd have no issue with him as our 4th prop option going into 22.
Spaud depth is an issue, but this will effect most teams post covid.
