Interesting The Workd Cuo is to go ahead, but still Australia have not signed up?

Will the warm up game, take place Saturday to The Challenge Cup?

I doubt much of the country have either not heard of RL World Cup or if they have, don't care. Australia not coming or sending a substandard team is England's best chance of winning.

A small positive, Challenge Cup Final day tomorrow, little mention in media, over local news channels doing no build up? often wonder what RFL media do?

I did hear some adverts on the radio on the way to Ealing last Sunday, Offering tickets at £55.00.

Do you mean they are offering to pay people £55 to go?

I agree. I do not think that I would go, even with a free ticket.

Never did we hear any results to the request for views? about rebrands & relationships, but did we really expect to? Anyway, late last night, news started to break about plans for next season?

It seems the opinion is it would be wrong to relegate Leigh? seems the louder you shout! but it would also be unfair not to promote a team from The Championship! but then the thoughts for 2022, Four teams to be relegated from Super League for 2023 season, as a 10 team Super League would be more attractive to any broadcaster.

This is grim news for all teams outside the top of Super League, the current new Sky deal will be less money to be shared, but with a 10 team Super League, or will it just get another title?? for a ten team competition are they going to bring more money.

This must be why Ralph Rimmer was missing, coming up with this?

You really couldn't make it up. When the only way forward is for more participation, they want to regress.

Bit late to worry about Leigh, they should have thought of that before shafting them on funding. Think they would still have finished bottom though. Didn't worry about relegating us with 10 wins did they?

Martyn Sadler released his plans for the future of the sport this morning, split the teams in 6 Conferences, and what money is now coming in from broadcasting (£24 million) be split down in each conference, top team doing well, but at the bottom, well £80K as season.

London would be in Conference 6, with,

Catalans Dragons

Toulouse Olympique

London Broncos

North Wales Crusaders

London Skolars

West Wales Raiders

How many travelling supporters would that produce? does he want to finish the game completely?

Distribution of income in each Conference.

Team 1: £1.28 million (32%)

Team 2: £1.04 million (26%)

Team 3: £800,000 (20%)

Team 4: £560,000 (14%)

Team 5: £320,000 (8%)

Team 6: £80,000 (2%).

Love to be in a league with Cats & Toulouse but would swap out the Welsh 2 in favour of Carcassonne & Lézignan. Great away trips, might win the odd game, good food & wine.
