Never quite understood that phrase as donkeys are loyal hard working beasts often abused by humans. Would have said lions led by pussys but quite like cats too. I've referred to Monkey Lover as a Lemur who are generally considered to be the dumbest primate so Lions led by Lemurs. Sure Attenborough could make a good programme out of that.
